Position of work: Eastern Airways Head Office, Humberside Airport

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending upon experience

 

Due to continued expansion Eastern Airways now have a vacancy for a Technical Services Engineer — Licensed within our Continuing Airworthiness Management Department. Reporting directly to the Part CAMO Manager this is an excellent opportunity to develop and further a career with Eastern Airways.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Particular emphasis for the role will be to act as a technical troubleshooting and defect analyst for types operated by the organization utilizing the privileges of the License(s)
  • Responsible for ensuring the airline's fleet are supported in accordance with the applicable approved procedures, requirements and regulations in order that aircraft are able to be released to service in a safe, efficient and compliant manner
  • The successful candidate will perform duties within the Technical Services environment while also assisting the part 145 with in depth troubleshooting and defect rectifications, offering structured advice and guidance to enable defect control and rectifications in a timely
  • Reviewing, analysing and advising on fleet AD,SB and other regulatory compliance to ensure the fleet remain airworthy
  • Evaluate aircraft damages, compile repair documents and submit them for approval
  • Control and management of the fleet Dent and Buckle
  • Produce viable recommendations for the Maintenance
  • Evaluating and reviewing Technical Queries and assigned Technical Services emails for response to the customers
  • Liaising with TCH, OEM and DOA agencies regarding modifications, designs, STC updates, statements and Technical Publication

 

Person specification:

  • Ideally experienced in an aviation technical environment in particular working with company operated aircraft types however other type experience will be
  • Knowledge and experience of the relevant subject matter associated with the role including CAA, EASA Part M, Part 145, Part CAMO and Part CAO regulations
  • Troubleshooting skills with an analytical and pragmatic approach to resolving technical issues
  • The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver under pressure
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude

 

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • Relevant Aviation/Engineering Degree or 5 years aviation industry technical experience
  • Part 66 Engineering License with or without type would be advantageous
