Line Maintenance Controller

Position of work: Eastern Airways Head Office, Humberside Airport

Reporting to: CAMO Manager

 

Reporting to the CAMO Manager to assist with managing, planning and execution of the maintenance requirements for the Eastern Airways fleet including scheduled and unscheduled recovery works.


Main responsibilities:

  • Plan, prioritise and organise the daily line maintenance workload to ensure the prompt ordering and distribution of critical spares required to maximise defect clearance.
  • Assist planning department with short, medium and long term planning.
  • Ensure Operations and Maintenance personnel are fully informed regarding the daily maintenance status of company aircraft.
  • Coordinate defect investigation and recording to ensure clearance of defects in a cost effective and efficient manner, whilst complying with company and National Authority requirements and procedures.
  • Coordinate and liaise fully with Operations and Engineering staff, when changes to the operations flying programme are necessary to minimise delays and cancellations.
  • Provide technical support to operations and flying staff and ensure line maintenance personnel debrief crews effectively to enable systematic troubleshooting and defect clearance.
  • Control ADD and OOP databases to effect compliance with National Authority maintenance control requirements.
  • Ensure fleet airworthiness certification is maintained up to date through liaison with Compliance department.
  • Assist Technical department in resolving fleet operational and technical difficulties and mandatory AD/SB requirements.
  • Ensure control of documentation, spares, manpower, transportation and accommodation to effect timely recovery of AOG aircraft away from base.
  • Liaison with NAA approved Third Party maintenance support organisations to ensure cost effective and timely aircraft recovery.

 

Key Accountability:

  • Support the Part-145 and CAMO with fleet availability targets

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical understanding of aircraft systems and components.
  • Experience with undertaking complex projects

  • Competent in the handling of technical data.
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic work ethic.
  • Extremely strong and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritise and manage multiple complex time sensitive tasks concurrently.
