INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS

The airport information desk is sited in the main hall.  The Eastern Airways check-in desk is located in the main check-in hall, operated by Manx Regional.

Passengers travelling to the Isle of Man may be required to present photographic identification for Birmingham Airport security purposes only.

AIRPORT FACILITIES

Eating and Drinking - The Café Oasis offers a selection of hot and cold food and beverages.

Shopping - The Skynines Travellers Store is located on the first floor offering a range of newspapers, periodicals, books, gifts, confectionery and tobacco.

CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS FACILITIES

The airport has facilities for wireless internet access in the departure lounge and buffet areas.  Facsimile, photocopying and meeting rooms can be made available during normal office hours, upon request to the information desk.  The airport’s meeting rooms can also be booked for meetings through the Airport Director’s Office.

CAR HIRE

Athol (agents for Europcar), Hertz and Mylchreests (agents for Avis) are all situated in the main terminal building.

CAR PARKING

The airport offers a main car park with a disc zone and disabled parking along with a pick up and drop off area.  The car parks are fenced, illuminated 24 hours a day and there is also 24 hour security cover on the airport.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Any point on the island is no more than one hour away by road, and the airport is signposted on all main roads throughout the island.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Road: The airport is clearly signposted.

Taxi: There is a taxi rank situated outside the entrance of the terminal building. Taxis are available to meet all flights and most destinations are covered by fixed tariff charges.

Bus/Coach: Buses run from the airport to Port Erin and Port St Mary, via Castletown, and to Douglas via Ballasalla every hour, and at half hourly intervals during peak times.
