Market Square

Old Stavanger

Stavanger has received several awards for its efforts to preserve Old Stavanger which comprises 173 wooden buildings from the turn of the 18th century.

Ledaal House

A mansion built about 1800 for the Kielland family. It features in Alexander Kiellands novels.

Eating & Drinking
The airport has a number of food outlets including:
Pulpit Rock café on the second floor before security. The Pulpit Rock has fantastic views of the airport and runway and serves hot and cold dishes as well as a range of sandwiches and drinks. After security there are several food outlets including: West Coast - café serving pasta dishes, salads and baguettes, La Baguette - serving fresh baguettes, pizz from Peppes Pizza and fresh juice and smoothies, Brisen Bar - serving light snacks and drinks and Baròmeter - a fully licensed bar.

Shopping
The airport has a wide selection of shops both before and after security check-in. Before security there are several shops in the arrival hall such as 7-Eleven and the Pulpit Rock café on the second floor. After security there is a duty free shop and Ark Pocket Bookstore. Bank Service. The airport's bank is Sparebank1 SR Bank (www.sr-bank.no) and is located by security on the first floor. In addition there are several ATMs in the terminal building.

Car Hire
The following Car Hire operators can be found in the main airport terminal, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National.

Car Parking
The Airport has 2500 parking spaces, and guarantee to have available spaces. The car park is run by Europark A/S and has 24 hour security.
To enter the car park:
Use your creditcard to open the gate when entering and exiting the parking area. When exiting the car park, the cardreader will give you a receipt detailing the amount charged your credit card.
