Motorists simply exit the M8 at junctions 28 (if you are coming from the east) or 29 (if you are coming from the west). Rail
If you are travelling by train, the nearest station to Glasgow Airport is Paisley Gilmour Street, just over one mile from the terminal and connected by the McGill’s 757 bus service. The First 500 Glasgow Shuttle also connects directly to the airport from Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central Train Stations. Tickets to Glasgow Airport can be purchased at any train station in Scotland or via the ScotRail website.
Taxi
Pre-book your journey to the airport and get dropped off right outside the main terminal building. All our cars have chip-and-pin terminals on-board so paying by credit/debit card couldn’t be easier. Please bear in mind, however, that a surcharge applies for this facility.
Bus/Coach
Most buses connect through the main Buchanan Street Bus Station in the city centre where connecting services from all over the country arrive, making it really easy to get to the airport from other parts of Scotland. What’s more, one of the great benefits of taking the bus to the airport is that it will stop right outside the main terminal building!
