CAR HIRE
Europcar, Hertz, Avis, National, Alamo, Budget and Enterprise desks are situated in the check-in area. Special discounted rates with Europcar are available to all Eastern Airways passengers.

CAR PARKING
Glasgow Airport offers car parking to suit all customer’s needs poistioned right next to the airport including short stay and long stay. Each car park offers high standards of security and customer service.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Glasgow Airport is situated around eight miles from the centre of Glasgow and can easily be reached from the M8 motorway (junction 28), with a typical journey time of 20 minutes. If you're using a satellite navigation system you can input the postcode PA3 2SW.

Rail
The nearest rail station to the airport is Paisley Gilmour Street, which is just one mile from the terminal and easily reached by taxi or bus (services 66 and 300).

There are direct rail services from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central, Ayr and Clyde Coast destinations.

When travelling to the airport from any station in Scotland, simply ask for a rail ticket to Glasgow Airport. The ticket will be valid on the train to Paisley Gilmour Street and the Arriva bus service from Paisley to the airport.

Road
The airport is clearly signed from all major routes

Taxi
Glasgow Airport taxis are available 24 hours a day to any destination and any distance. Taxi drivers are obliged to meter the entire journey and publish their scale of charges.

The taxi rank is at the front of the terminal building. Only taxis licensed by Renfrewshire Council may pick up from the rank.

ALL taxis should use the new drop-off zone to the west of international arrivals when dropping passengers off. All private hire and TOA taxis should use Car Park 1 or Car Park 2 when collecting passengers from the airport. The minimum charge for either of these car parks is £1, however there will be a dedicated taxi pick-up point situated in Car Park 2.

Bus/Coach
First's Glasgow Shuttle provides you with the most direct service between the airport and Glasgow city centre with links to Glasgow's two main rail stations – Central and Queen Street – and the main bus terminus, Buchanan Bus Station.

The service operates up to every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, and takes only 25 minutes end to end.

All buses are low-floor for easy accessibility, and have luggage racks and free WiFi access to help you make the most of your journey time.

First also operates over 100 services across greater Glasgow, offering connections to or from most parts of the area.
