Eastern Airways has both Flight Crew and Cabin Crew based at the following UK airports - Aberdeen, Durham Tees Valley, East Midlands, Humberside, Isle of Man, Leeds/Bradford, Newcastle, Norwich, Southampton and Wick. We do not have crew based at Birmingham, Bristol or Cardiff airports in the UK, or any of our European airports.

Airport ground staff are generally employed by our handling agents at the airports to which we operate. We do however also employ our own ground representatives at Aberdeen, Humberside and Wick airports.

Eastern Airways headquarters is located at Humberside Airport, North Lincolnshire. The majority of administration staff are based here.

RESERVATIONS CLERK – FRENCH SPEAKING

Eastern Airways have a track record for consistent growth and an outstanding reputation for delivering a first class service to all of our valued customers. As a reservations clerk you will play a very important role to ensure that exceptional customer service is at the centre of everything that you do. Due to continued expansion we now have the following vacancy based at our Head Office at Humberside Airport:

Principal task areas:

• Respond to incoming phone calls from potential passengers and travel agents in relation to our French route network; book passenger travel accordingly
• To be constantly aware of call queues, ensuring calls do not go unanswered
• Respond to incoming Reservation emails concerning French routes and take appropriate action
• Complete all necessary paperwork, ie. Receipt confirmations
• Respond to all schedule changes accordingly
• Liaise with the Customer Relations Manager and Operations Department to ensure Company passenger care standards are maintained at all times
• Assist with reservation bookings and queries concerning non French routes when applicable

The key requirements for this position would ideally be:

• Fluent in both written and spoken French
• Call centre or travel industry background
• Customer Relations experience
• Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner
• A willingness to work to a shift rotation pattern, with some weekend working
• Situation awareness with a logical approach to solving problems
